Applications for the June 2027 - May 2028 cohort will open in November. 

Please note: your application is not considered complete unless we have received your completed application form, which should include your demographic and research interest information, personal statement, and a resume/CV by January 1, 2027. Any questions should be emailed to the BrainSTORM Coordinator, Ms. Sandra Rizer, at brainstorm@cumc.columbia.edu.

The use of AI to complete any portion of this application is strictly prohibited.

Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Timeline

  • November 2026: BrainSTORM Mentorship applications are released
  • Application Deadline: January 1, 2027, @ 11:59 pm EST
  • Notification of selection: March 1, 2027
  • All final paperwork submitted: April 1, 2027
  • Start Date: July 2027
  • Program Ends: June 2028
