The Division of General Neurology supports a broad range of basic science research and clinical trails to develop improved treatments for common neurological conditions, including:

  • General Neurological Disorders (including memory loss, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, seizures, sleep disorders, and stroke)
  • Concussion and Sports-Related Head Injury
  • Dizziness, Vertigo, and Balance
  • Headache and Facial Pain 
  • Lyme Disease
  • Neuromuscular Disorders

The ColumbiaDoctors Neurology Headache and Facial Pain Center is actively involved in clinical research trials examining new medications for the treatment of various headache disorders, as well as neuroimaging studies to investigate the pathophysiology and mechanisms of head pain.
