The Ludwig Scholars first mini symposium convened on July 23, 2025. The event was a representation of the Ludwig Center’s Pilot Program in Neurodegeneration and the exceptional work of its scholars. The inaugural scholars awarded in 2023 presented their final scientific progress, while a new cohort of scholars was formally introduced.

This event highlighted not only the innovative and translational nature of the research, but also the collaborative, team science culture that defines the Ludwig Center. As a testament to the program’s success, both inaugural pilot projects are serving as the foundation for upcoming R01 submissions and scientific publications.

The Ludwig Center Pilot Program in Neurodegeneration supports translational efforts that bridge basic science and clinical application, ultimately accelerating the development of therapeutic strategies that have the potential to transform Alzheimer’s disease.
