I strive to provide thoughtful, personalized care for people with complex neuroimmunologic disorders, combining careful diagnosis with evidence-based treatment and a patient-centered approach.
Dr. Munther M. Queisi is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, specializing in neuroimmunology. He received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed residency training in Neurology at the University of Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in Neuroimmunology and Neuroinfectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Queisi is board-certified in both Neurology and Internal Medicine. His clinical interests include multiple sclerosis, neurosarcoidosis, optic neuritis, and other neuroinflammatory and autoimmune disorders of the central nervous system. His research focuses on improving the diagnosis and management of neuroimmunologic diseases, understanding clinical outcomes across diverse patient populations, and advancing approaches to the evaluation and treatment of complex inflammatory disorders of the nervous system.
Dr. Queisi has been actively involved in clinical and translational research in neuroimmunology, including work focused on neurosarcoidosis, multiple sclerosis, and optic neuritis. He is particularly interested in developing evidence-based approaches to challenging diagnostic and therapeutic decisions in neuroimmunologic disease.
