Overview

Ms. Kim is an acute care nurse practitioner in the Department of Neurology Division of Neuro-Oncology. She received her BA in Biological Science from Rutgers University and her BS/MS from Columbia University School of Nursing. She is board certified in acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has been at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center since 2004, starting as an RN on Medical Oncology Unit and transitioning as a critical care RN on Neurological Intensive Care Unit where she worked until 2011. After becoming an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Kim worked at NeuroHospitalist Service at Columbia University Irving Medical Center where she provided primary care of hospitalized patients with various neurological diseases. In 2015, she joined the Division of Neuro-Oncology, where in close collaboration with attending neuro-oncologists, she provides care to patients with primary brain & spinal tumors and brain metastases.
