The Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) Task Force for Addressing Structural Racism

The Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) Task Force for Addressing Structural Racism—co-chaired by Department of Neurology Chief-of-Staff Dr. Olajide Williams, and comprised of more than 100 faculty and staff from across CUIMC—released their ROADMAP FOR ANTI-RACISM IN HEALTH CARE AND THE HEALTH SCIENCES outlining “transformative actions needed to make CUIMC truly anti-racist, diverse, multicultural, and fully inclusive.” Other Neurology faculty involved include Drs. Carl Bazil, Carolyn B. Britton, Jose Gutierrez, and Jennifer J. Manly. The report can be found online on the CUIMC Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion website.
