Columbia neurologists, trainees, staff, and especially our patients agree, Neurology Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are, indeed, heroes in healthcare! Over the past year, Neurology’s NPs were critical to the Department of Neurology’s successful integration of all Adult and Child Neurology Clinics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center into one cohesive Neurology Outpatient Group Practice. Now, every day, across all of our clinical focus areas and practice settings, our NPs work tirelessly alongside Columbia Neurologists to advance accessible, equitable, high-quality care to patients of all backgrounds regardless of insurance status, in support of our larger mission to reduce healthcare disparities locally, nationally, and globally. The difference NPs make in the lives of patients and the communities we serve deserves to be recognized and celebrated! THANK YOU to ALL of our exceptionally dedicated and talented NPs!
