Andrew B. Lassman, MD: New Network Capacity Resource Scientific Director

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew B. Lassman for his new role as the Irving Institute’s Network Capacity Scientific Director. Dr. Lassman, Professor and Chief of the Division of Neuro-Oncology, Department of Neurology, as well as the Associate Director for Clinical Trials at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC) and Associate Dean of Clinical Research Compliance, will lead the Network Capacity Resource and will assume the role of Medical Director of the Trial Innovation Network (TIN) Hub Liaison Team. Since the TIN launch, and after five years of service, Dr. Mitchell Elkind has stepped down from this role at the Irving Institute. We thank Dr. Elkind for championing clinical trials and leading Columbia’s efforts in supporting multi-site clinical trials.
