Overview
Elena Gonzalez, MSN, CPNP is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, with a background in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care. Currently, as a provider within the Department of Neurology Division of Child Neurology, Elena specializes in the care of children with epilepsy, autism and related developmental disorders. As part of ongoing community outreach efforts by the Division of Child Neurology, in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and other partners at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Elena provides monthly lectures with continuing education credits related to the care of children with autism spectrum disorder.
Research: Participated in research regarding the treatment of children with Lennox Gastaut and Dravet Syndrome.
