Research

Dr. Lin is interested in learning the electrophysiological changes of the brain in various movement disorders to help understand the disease mechanisms and search for treatments. Taking cerebellar ataxia as an example, Dr. Lin studies how ion channel dysfunction alters the firing activities of Purkinje cells, which in turn affects the behavioral output in mouse models for ataxia.
